Come and learn more about the upcoming bond to support Tri-County Technical Center’s programming.

This bond uses money that has already been spent/allocated by the State of Maine.

LD 144 says:

“This funding structure offers significant advantages for local communities, as they receive improved career and technical education facilities without any corresponding increase in local taxes or expenses. The state’s assumption of full financial responsibility means that local education budgets can maintain their current priorities while communities upgrade their CTE facilities without financial strain.”

The bond’s money will be used to support updating equipment and programming for TCTC students in the immediate future.

If this bond does not pass, then this equipment will need to be included in local budgets in the near future.

So this bond will save local taxpayer money.
